What
is Ayurveda ?
Ayurveda is the science of positive health and fullfillment of life.
According to that Ayurveda is an art, which teaches how to live
and also a philosophy.
On the other side , It is a science which makes man educated with
all necessary informations about life.
When medical system are considered it is very clear that Ayurvedic
theory is quite different from others.
If it is explain further while other medical theories depend on
symptomatic treatment. Ayurvedic theory depends on the method which
scan the inbalance of Tridosha (biological humors – [ Vata,
Pitta, Kapha]) in body and corrects it.
The basic Aims and
Objecives of Ayurveda
main aim is
- To achieve positive health for the individual
maintenance and promotion of health.
- Prevention and treatment of disease.
The action here is establishing the equilibrium of the body elements
(Biological elements); and the procedure of maintaining the equilibrium
of the body elements is the objective of this science.
So the aims of Ayurveda can be categorized as
- Treatment of diseases.
- Promotion of ideal constitution
- Improving qualities of tissues. |
